Electrical Supervisor / Construction Manager Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who employ over 2,000 and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centres, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently looking for Electrical Supervisors & Construction Managers to join them on a Data Centre Project in Zurich, Switzerland. You Will Be Responsible For: • Overseeing all electrical construction activities on site, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications. • Managing and coordinate electrical subcontractors, labour, and suppliers to ensure quality installation of HV/LV systems, switchgear, cabling, lighting, and power distribution equipment. • Reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, and installation methods, providing technical guidance and resolving site queries to support smooth execution. • Monitoring progress against the electrical construction schedule, identifying and mitigating risks, delays, or resource constraints. • Enforcing strict health and safety standards on site, conducting safety briefings, inspections, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and project-specific requirements. • Collaborating with other construction disciplines, commissioning teams, and project management to ensure seamless integration and handover of electrical systems. • Managing quality control activities, including inspections, testing, and documentation, to ensure installations meet design and industry standards. • Preparing and submit regular progress reports, manage variation requests, and support the commercial team with cost control and forecasting related to electrical works.
You Will Need: • A degree, diploma, or trade background in Electrical Engineering or a related field. • Significant experience as an Electrical Construction Manager on large-scale or mission-critical projects such as data centres. • Strong knowledge of electrical installation methods, sequencing, and best practices. • Proven ability to lead site teams and subcontractors to deliver high-quality work on schedule. • Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards on construction sites. • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach. • EU passport is not required but desirable.
