Electrical Technician (WDA)- CCP for Biomedical Manufacturing Industry
Summary
Maintain and calibrate biomedical manufacturing equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot failures while ensuring compliance with cGMP standards and documentation requirements.
Job Description:
• Provide support for calibration of instruments and preventative maintenance (PM's) plans, as requested.
• Responsible for written documentation of activities. •Responsible for SAP transactions and change control activities including spare part lists and Preventative Maintenance (PMs) plans.
• Actively supports, participates and embraces an inclusive team culture including significant interaction with Operations, Quality, Automation, Technology, and other groups as required.
• Provides support to complete work activities timely, efficiently and satisfactorily.
• Provides troubleshooting and diagnostic of equipment failure to determine the root cause and perform immediate corrective actions
• Standby for any emergency repair after office hours /weekends and public holidays.
• Operates and maintains production support equipment efficiently and reliably to support production activities.
• Performs and coordinates equipment shutdown, startup, swing over, and equipment servicing and inspection
• Identifies, executes and reports improvement on routine work activities
• Participates in the improvement to enhance equipment or system efficiency, reduce energy usage and other cost saving/avoidance projects.
• Performs jobs assigned by Maintenance Lead pertaining to installation, modification, fabrication, testing, servicing and repairs of equipment, with adherence to site change control procedures or minor projects
• Performs testing, commissioning, qualification (IQ, OQ)activities.
• Carries out Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE)improvement initiatives (i.e., audits, training, etc.) and submit recommendation.
• Performs job assignments by Maintenance Lead pertaining to equipment or system or documentation or housekeeping.
• Executes CMMS Work Instruction from process plants (e.g. leakages, replace faulty part, troubleshooting, repair).
• Participate in SHE, Business Compliance, cGMP and all other compliance-related matters, where applicable.
• Supervise and oversee Third Party Contractors, where applicable.
• Any other duties as and when assigned by the Supervisor /Manager cGMP Standards Understands and follows proper cGMP principles and our company quality guidelines and policies related to the execution of assigned work.
PROBLEM SOLVING:
• Use tools like Real time problem solving (RTPS), Fish bone or 5 Whys to solve problem
• Assesses simple issues and suggest paths towards resolution
• Able to properly assess the situation and understand when to escalate to a higher-level Leading Self or Others, and Department
• Works with minimum direct supervision
• Trains and guides technicians in the day/shift teams

Qualification:
• NTC / ITC / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrument& Control or Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent • PUB electrician's license will be an advantage
Experience:
• Min 5 years of working experience in electrical/instrumentation in the Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical or related industries
• Good working experience in Electrical & Instrumental discipline will be an advantage
• Knowledge of cGMP and good documentation practice is an advantage Other Personal Attributes:
