Job Description & Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
  • Having an experience and knowledge in Testing & Commissioning of power plant, substation.
  • Knowledge in testing of experience in MV, LV Switchgears and Transformers.
  • Operating and interlock checking
  • Knowledge of Transformer Differential Protection & REF Protection and its stability test, Bus bar protection and its stability test, over current & Earth fault protection.
  • Prepare and study control - protection drawings of all electrical systems.
  • Cable schedule preparation based on scheme available at site.
  • Testing and commissioning of all Electrical equipment.
  • Testing of protective Relays used for various purposes, Experienced with relays such as over current and Earth fault relay.
  • Testing of CT, VT, Circuit breaker, Isolator, Earth switch and Switch gear related Electrical equipment and Power transformer.
  • Operation and Maintenance of Power Plant and Substation.
  • Troubleshooting of all Electrical circuits, control and Protection circuits.
  • Good team player and communication skills in project management.
  • Required Skill: electrical switch board troubleshooting and commissioning, knowledge in protection relays (ABB, Micom or sepam will plus), knowledge in HV and LV switchgears, troubleshoot skills.

Education:

  • Degree holder with experience 3 years
  • Diploma holder with experience 8 years
