Electrician

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and installations across the property.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, including lighting, power distribution boards, wiring, sockets, and circuit breakers.
• Inspect and maintain electrical panels, distribution boards, switchgear, and related equipment.
• Monitor and maintain electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operation.
• Assist with the maintenance of generators, electrical control systems, and associated equipment as required.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and guest room or operational maintenance requests.
• Conduct routine inspections and report electrical defects, safety hazards, and potential equipment failures.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, operational procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and electrical inspections.
• Coordinate with the Engineering team and other departments to support daily operations, projects, and emergency repairs.
• Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment when carrying out electrical work.

• Relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience, preferably in hotels or resorts in the Maldives.

• Good knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and electrical safety procedures.

• Ability to work independently, respond to emergencies, and follow safety standards.
