ELECTRICIAN
- Panels & Machinery: Assist senior technicians in the installation, routine maintenance, and repair of Low Tension (LT) panels, Motor Control Center (MCC) panels, and sub-Distribution Boards (DB).
- Motors & VFDs: Support the safe installation, connection, and testing of industrial motors and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) used for energy-efficient motor control.
- Fault Finding: Learn to identify and diagnose electrical faults—such as open circuits, short circuits, and voltage drops—using multimeters, clamp meters, and megger devices.
- Defect Rectification: Safely replace worn-out or damaged electrical components, ensuring minimal downtime and strict compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety rules.
- Scheduled Checks: Perform routine, scheduled preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment to prevent unexpected power failures and fire hazards.
- Component Inspection: Check the integrity of mechanical linkages within the electrical gear, tightening loose terminals, and cleaning internal cabinet components to prevent dust accumulation.
- Lighting Systems: Maintain, repair, and upgrade internal and external facility lighting systems, including ballasts, drivers, and emergency exit lights.
- Earthing Systems: Assist in measuring earth resistance and maintaining a robust, properly grounded earthing network to protect equipment and personnel.
- Generators & UPS: Monitor and support the maintenance of standby Generators and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) to guarantee continuous facility power during grid outages.
- Control Mechanisms: Learn to inspect and maintain control panels, specifically checking the operation of relays and heavy-duty contactors.
- System Basics: Develop a foundational understanding of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) control panels, thermostats, and associated electrical supply systems.
- Education: ITI (Electrician/Wireman/Electronics) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Fresher / 0 to 2 year of hands-on technical training or project work.
- Skills: Ability to read basic electrical single-line diagrams (SLD) and schematics. Familiarity with the proper use of hand tools and diagnostic instruments.
- Safety Mindset: Strong commitment to following all electrical safety policies and utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
