Electro & Instrumentation Engineer
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electro & Instrument Engineer to join our engineering team at NOV APL. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and follow-up of electrical and instrumentation systems for offshore applications. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop electrical and instrumentation solutions in accordance with project requirements, standards, and regulations
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including:
o Single line diagrams
o Loop diagrams
o Cable schedules
o Instrument datasheets
o Electrical load lists
o Functional descriptions
• Perform cable tray routing and develop E&I layout drawings
• Support project execution from concept phase through completion
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, customers, and suppliers
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company quality standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement and technical development within the department
• Responsibilities and level of independence will be adapted based on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, or related field
• Experience within offshore, marine, oil & gas, or industrial projects is an advantage, but not required
• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (IEC, NORSOK, ATEX, etc.) is beneficial
• Experience with or interest in E3D and AutoCAD is desirable
• Interest in electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation technology
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
