Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

About the role

Are you an electromechanical professional with experience in continuous industrial environments looking for job stability in a growing project? At Randstad, we are selecting Electromechanical Maintenance Technicians to join immediately a leading company in its sector located in Montornès del Vallès (Barcelona).

What you'll do

In your day-to-day, as part of a team of 2 technicians per shift, you will be responsible for: Executing preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance (format changes, spindles, rows, and maintenance of large-scale equipment). Diagnosing and resolving low-voltage electrical incidents autonomously and immediately to avoid line stoppages. Interpretation of electrical diagrams, rewiring of control panels, and intervention in PLC inputs/outputs and frequency drives. Guaranteeing the optimal operational functioning of extrusion lines and heavy continuous process machinery.

What we're looking for

Training: FGM or CFGS in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Electricity, or Automation. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance of continuous process industrial plants (plastics, metal, paper, heavy chemical sectors, or similar). (Note: Profiles coming exclusively from laboratory or pharmaceutical environments do not fit the plant dynamics). Technical knowledge: Electrical (essential): Reading and interpretation of electrical diagrams, low voltage, rewiring of control panels, and interpretation of PLC inputs/outputs and drives. Mechanical: Notions or experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial mechanics. Valuable: Forklift license, training in working at heights, and electrical risk prevention (RD 614).

We offer a direct permanent contract with the company, a very competitive remuneration package (between €36,400 and €42,000 gross/year with the possibility of reaching up to €45,000 - €46,000 depending on merit), and the opportunity to develop yourself in a plant equipped with high-volume industrial technology. Competitive salary: Base salary of €36,400/year, with a range of €36,400 to €42,000 gross/year including night and rotation bonuses. For profiles with very high value contribution, remuneration can reach €45,000 - €46,000 gross/year. Additional compensation for on-call shifts and overtime: Very occasional weekend on-call shifts remunerated at €560/weekend. Breakdown overtime paid at €34/h (daytime) and €44/h (nighttime). Working day and Schedule: Rotating shifts of Night, Afternoon, and Morning (N-A-M) with changes every 15 days, organized from Monday to Saturday morning.
