  • Manage component development schedules through start of production while coordinating milestones, risks, and recovery plans with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with design, evaluation, quality, manufacturing, sales, and supplier partners to resolve issues and deliver high-quality project outcomes.
  • Apply electronic components across concurrent vehicle programs, including major and minor model changes.
  • Benchmark competitor vehicles, consumer electronics, and emerging technologies to develop proposals that improve customer experience, cost, mass, and performance.
  • Partner with engineering teams in North America and Japan to support vehicle application, joint testing, issue investigation, and technical decision-making.
  • Improve development processes, project visibility, and team operations to strengthen the quality and efficiency of electronic systems development.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering field.
  • One or more years of relevant professional, internship, researcher work, or co op experience.
  • Experience managing projects and collaborating with internal and external partners to deliver quality work within established milestones.
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience supporting technical issue investigations with multiple partners, including suppliers, quality teams, and sales teams.
  • Working knowledge of development quality tools such as Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Design Review Based on Failure Mode, or Fault Tree Analysis, along with a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Added Bonus If You Have

  • Experience using CATIA or a comparable engineering design system that helps you contribute quickly.
  • Programming experience with Python, C++, or a similar programming language.
  • Experience developing electronic control units, cockpit electronics, or wireless communication systems.
  • Experience supporting vehicle evaluation or manufacturing activities in domestic or international environments.
