Electronic Assembly Technician / Manufacturing

Summary

Assemble, test, and calibrate electronic machines; perform welding, QC checks, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.

Monday to Friday - no shift

$2000 - $2600 basic

Full time - perm

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform machines assembly and modification, debug and test run according to required specifications, drawings and work instructions
  • Able to perform PP and Aluminum profile cutting base on the released Mechanical drawing.
  • Able to perform PP welding base on the required specification especially on Tank welding.
  • Set up and calibrate machines to meet desired specifications
  • Conduct QC checks on mechanical parts and electrical components
  • Install, test and commission new machines at customers’ sites
  • Assist Engineers in problem-solving, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair
  • Support Engineers in R&D activities to develop new machines
  • Ensure good housekeeping and safe working environment in assembly workshop
  • Perform other technical tasks as assigned by Management
  • Able to read mechanical /electrical drawings is an added advantage
  • Perform 6S + Housekeeping in working area or production floor.

Job Requirements:

  • NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in any Engineering discipline
  • Preferably with minimum 2 years’ working experience in machines assembly
  • Able to work overtime and weekends when required
  • Preferably know and have knowledge or experience in Gas and electric welding.
