ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CONTROLS MECHANIC

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Incumbent works in the Directorate of Public Works and maintains, repairs, and operates building automation systems (BAS).

Works with building equipment mechanics and contractors to complete maintenance and repair of building automation systems (BAS).

Examines and troubleshoots communication links with Local Area Networks.

Identifies, analyzes, and diagnoses individual controls and system problems through remote interface software or directly while on site.

Troubleshoots and repairs direct digital controls, programmable logic controllers, Siemens APPOGEE building controllers, and building mechanical systems.
