ELECTRONIC SECURITY SYSTEMS MECHANIC
Summary
Maintain and repair analog/digital security systems, including sensors and logic subsystems, using blueprints and manuals to diagnose and fix malfunctions.
You will serve as a ELECTRONIC SECURITY SYSTEMS MECHANIC in the NAVY PUBLIC WORKS CENTER of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST. This position is being recruited for the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) and may subsequently be realigned under the Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC).
You will performs repairs and maintenance on an analog/digital computer - type network with a variety of input forms.
You will perform functional tests on each subsystem as a scheduled maintenance program, determine cause of malfunctions and make necessary repairs.
You will performs all overhauling, calibrating, installing modifying and aligning of the sensor subsystems and logic subsystems.
You will diagnoses system or equipment malfunctions and repairs as necessary.
You will use building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams engineering drawings and electrical maintenance and repair manuals.
