Electronic Validation Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and execute test and validation plans for electronic products developed by the R&D department
• Provide support and advice to Product Owners in the design assurance process and in the development of the testing plan
• Prepare technical documentation: test specifications, validation reports, non-conformity tracking, production support, etc.
• Write test reports and results, analyze and provide support for the correction of design errors
• Support in functional, environmental, stress, EMC/EMI, certification, and electrical safety testing, with external laboratories
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, hardware, firmware, software, and quality teams to improve processes and results
• Automate laboratory tests, with the use of Python or a similar language being desirable

Nice to have

• Validation of IoT electronic products and electronic devices
• Familiarity with quality, electrical safety, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMI/EMC) regulations and certification processes with external laboratories
• Test automation and design of test benches for electronic equipment

Education & certifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic, Industrial, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field
• Profiles with Higher Level Vocational Training in Electronic Maintenance, Electronic and Automated Systems, or similar, will also be valued, provided they bring relevant experience in testing, validation, or electronic product quality.
• +2 years of experience in validation, testing, or electronic product quality
