ELECTRONICS ENGINEER

You will serve as a Common Weapons Launcher (CWL) Electronics Engineer in the Submarine Combat and Weapon Control Systems Program Office (PMS 425) under Director, AUKUS, International, and Systems (AIS).
You will be responsible for electronics, analyses, and design used for Naval ships/submarines and ship systems/subsystems.
You will consult with Program Managers, Technical Warrant Holders, Deputy Warranting Officers, Chief Engineer (CHENG), Program Executive Office (PEO) staff, Warfare Centers, Maintenance Activities and other top officials
You will advise on application of mathematical and engineering sciences to problems concerned with electronics, electromagnetics, and power.
You will plan and conduct investigations, operational testing, risk assessments, analyses and design modifications of electronics.
You will evaluate factors affecting system performance characteristics. Reviews and evaluates the effect of new and/or modified electronics on overall system performance.
You will advise Fleet, SECNAV, OPNAV, NAVSEA, and field activities on difficult or controversial matters, such as modifying systems to meet new, demanding performance requirements.
You will advise on how to deal with new technologies for which no precedent exists, plan for future system expansion, or cope with emergencies. Performs other duties as assigned.
