Elementary Music Teacher (TCH-0497) Anticipated

CRITERIA:

• NJ Teacher of Music Certification or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS)
• Experience in Elementary General Music instruction and pedagogy
• Ability to organize and direct an elementary level chorus
• Ability to differentiate instruction
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Effective classroom management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff members and parents
• Proficient vocal and piano/instrumental skills preferred
• Previous experience working with primary grade students preferred
• Willingness to work collaboratively with district colleagues regarding music instruction preferred
• Ability to plan a yearly concert and music for other school events/assemblies throughout the year preferred
• Willingness to support building/department/district initiatives that encourage student participation in music preferred
• Flexibility and willingness to work with all department colleagues to recruit/retain students K-12 preferred

SALARY: $65,470 - $99,701
