ELV JUNIOR COMMISSIONING ENGINEER
Job Accountabilities
• System Installation & Configuration:
Oversee and perform the installation of ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, lighting control, AV systems, SCS (active network, firewall, etc.), public address systems, speed gates, and other related systems. Responsibilities include supervision, programming and configuration.
• Testing and Commissioning:
Participate in project design and prepare high-level and low-level system architecture drawings for client approval. Conduct thorough testing and commissioning to ensure all systems operate correctly in line with design specifications and project requirements.
• Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network configurations during the testing and commissioning phases. Liaise with the respective manufacturers to coordinate and resolve system-related issues.
• Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including programming codes, wiring diagrams, test reports, and user manuals.
• Project Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project completion.
• Compliance and Standards:
Ensure all installed systems comply with relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and approved project specifications.
• Technical Support and Training:
Provide technical support to project teams and end-users and conduct training sessions to enable effective system operation and maintenance.
• Quality Control:
Ensure on-site work quality and adherence to best practices for installation and commissioning.
