Electro Safe Ltd. is seeking an experienced ELV / Life Safety Systems Designer with strong practical design experience in Life Safety Systems (LSS) and HPM systems, for employment in Israel.
The candidate must have hands-on engineering and design experience and be capable of independently preparing detailed design documentation, drawings, system layouts, schematics, and technical submissions.
Mandatory Professional Experience
The candidate must have proven practical design experience in the following systems:
- Fire Detection and Alarm Systems
- VESDA – Aspirating Smoke Detection Systems
- Toxic Gas Detection and Monitoring Systems
- HPM – Hazardous Production Materials Monitoring Systems
- LLD – Liquid Leak Detection Systems
- Integration and interfaces between Life Safety systems and other building / facility systems
Experience should include, as applicable:
- Preparation of system layouts and detailed design drawings
- Equipment selection and system architecture
- Preparation of riser diagrams and system schematics
- I/O and interface requirements
- Cause & Effect / Sequence of Operation documentation
- Cable, conduit and infrastructure requirements
- Coordination with electrical, mechanical, architectural and other disciplines
- Preparation and review of technical submittals
- Preparation and review of shop drawings
- Design coordination and clash resolution
- Preparation of construction and As-Built documentation
- Understanding of testing, commissioning and system integration requirements
Software Requirements
Mandatory:
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
- Excellent computer and technical documentation skills
Strong Advantage:
- Revit
- BIM
- Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Experience working in multidisciplinary BIM environments
Language Requirements
Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory, including:
- Fluent spoken English
- Excellent written English
- Ability to participate in technical meetings in English
- Ability to prepare and understand technical specifications, drawings, reports and correspondence in English
Additional Requirements
- Relevant degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, Control Systems or a related engineering discipline
- Proven experience in industrial, high-tech, semiconductor, data-center or other complex facilities is highly preferred
- Familiarity with international Life Safety standards such as NFPA and other applicable international standards is an advantage
- Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary engineering team
- Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Ability and willingness to relocate to Israel and work as part of Electro Safe's engineering team
Preferred Candidate Profile
We are specifically looking for a hands-on designer/engineer with actual design experience, rather than a candidate whose background is limited to installation, maintenance or site supervision.
Experience in complex industrial facilities, semiconductor plants, cleanrooms and data centers, particularly involving integrated LSS, HPM, VESDA, Toxic Gas Detection and LLD systems, will be considered a significant advantage.
