About Us
Mint Source is a remote-first bridge that connects vibrant talent with international clients and agencies, enabling skilled individuals to showcase their expertise on a global stage.
Role Overview
Mint Source is recruiting an Email Deliverability Specialist to join a fast-growing SaaS company whose product gets ecommerce brands' and publishers' emails into Gmail's Primary tab instead of the Promotions tab. For every new client that signs, you'll run inbox placement tests, determine what's landing their emails in Promotions, then configure and iterate the company's proprietary solution inside Klaviyo until their campaigns consistently reach the Primary tab. Your work is measured in the open: every client campaign runs as a live A/B test, one version with the solution applied and one without, so the lift you create is visible on every single send. You'll hand your test results and reports to the customer success team, and occasionally join client conversations to provide professional support. This is a testing, iteration, and problem-solving role built around a proprietary mechanism, not a DNS or sender-infrastructure role, and it sits at the center of how the company delivers on its core promise.
What You'll Do
- Conduct deliverability tests for new clients to determine exactly where their emails are landing
- Determine each client's promotional threshold, the combination of factors that causes their emails to land in Gmail's Promotions tab
- Configure and deploy the client-specific solution in Klaviyo, then test and iterate until deliverability results are where they need to be
- Run client campaigns as A/B tests and monitor win rates across accounts to confirm the solution is performing on every send
- Experiment with new and innovative approaches within the company's unique mechanism when the standard playbook isn't enough for a particular client
- Create clear reports of deliverability test and A/B test results and deliver them to the customer success team
- Flag anomalies and deliverability issues early, and communicate progress with the team over Slack
- Speak with clients when needed to provide professional, well-communicated support
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in email marketing, deliverability, or a similar hands-on analytical role
- Creativity and proven problem-solving instincts. You've diagnosed issues, tested fixes, and iterated until they worked, and when a setup doesn't respond to the usual approach, you enjoy figuring out what will
- A thoughtful and methodical working style. This role rewards people who run clean tests and trust the data over gut feel
- Ability to work under pressure and keep quality high when multiple client tests are running at once
- Flexibility when it counts. Client tests don't always respect the clock, so someone happy to stretch a day or check in on a weekend when needed will thrive here
- Good communication skills, so reports land clearly with the internal team and clients get professional support when you're pulled into a conversation. A plus, not a dealbreaker
- Familiarity with Klaviyo, Gmail, Notion, Slack, or any CRM is a bonus
- A fast, reliable laptop and strong internet connection (non-negotiable for this role)
- Willingness to complete a brief skills assessment as part of the hiring process
Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- Maintain a 95% A/B test win rate across all client accounts
- Achieve a 100% deliverability report completion rate, with every test documented and delivered to the customer success team
- Keep speed to testing under 3 days for every new client
- Within 30 days, learn the company's mechanism and run supervised deliverability tests; by 60 days, manage client tests and iterations independently; by 90 days, run the full testing workflow independently while consistently hitting speed and quality targets
What You Get
- Competitive compensation discussed individually based on experience and location
- A fully remote role with a high-performing team on a mission to build the biggest email deliverability solution on the market
- Rewards for innovation and work ethic, including company bonuses, incentives, and career progression
- A balanced 50/50 split of collaborative and independent work, with regular structured meetings and scheduled check-ins so you always know where you stand
