Email Marketing Automation Specialist (6 months contract)

As our Marketing Automation Specialist, you will put our values up in lights by delivering these activities and outcomes; You’ll work within the digital marketing team. A team who loves innovation, optimisation and performance.
Your role will be to use our automation tools to their best ability. Whether its email, SMS or push notifications, you’ll understand how our customers want to hear from us and when. Ultimately your role is that of both acquisition and retention of our customer and prospects. Key role functions of the role include;
Understanding of customer journeys and how to optimise them
• Creation, Testing and optimising personalised flows, including email, SMS, and app notifications.
• You’ll set up journey’s, test them and report on them.
• You will drive new customer acquisition and strategy as well as retention of our current customers
• You’ll hero best channel practice.
• You will work with the wider marketing team on creative messaging, and optimising creative messaging
• You’ll understand data, how to integrate it from our CRM and website
• You’ll understand MarTech (we currently use Iterable) and you’ll be able to use it to nurture our customers at scale.
• You’ll think outside the box and always look for new opportunities and innovation.
• You will be the owner of the comms calendar, keeping the rest of the marketing team accountable. • You’ll also keep up to date with current legislation and always work within compliance guidelines.

• An understanding of the telco industry (customer journey knowledge would be amazing!)
• Tertiary qualifications in marketing or similar
• 2+ years’ experience working in the marketing automation and/or email marketing (or similar) space.
• Experience in customer journey mapping, audience segmentation and automation journey design and development.
• High level of literacy for creating written content / communications
• Ability to collaborate and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders across cross function teams
• HTML and CSS knowledge
• Ability to collect, analyse and interpret data from various sources to use in decision-making
• Knowledge of email marketing best practices
• Experience with iterable favourable
• Demonstrated ability to: o Solve problems and think like a leader o Work independently and as part of a team
o Learn quickly and adapt to changing situations
