Email Marketing Automation Specialist
Description
About PropertyTek
PropertyTek is a private equity-backed holding company transforming property management through a growing portfolio of SaaS brands. Our products power leasing automation for single- and multifamily residential property managers.
We're looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This is a role that will build the systems that move leads through our marketing funnel, directly supporting Sales and our mission to transform the property technology landscape.
Role Overview
We're hiring a Marketing Automation Specialist to own HubSpot workflow architecture across our property management SaaS portfolio (ShowMojo and Tenant Turner). This is not an execution-only role: the person in this seat designs and builds the automation logic that drives lifecycle marketing, not just runs pre-built workflows.
This is a contractor position, remote, Philippines-based preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Workflow Architecture
- Design and build multi-branch HubSpot workflows from scratch, not just editing existing sequences
- Architect lead scoring models tailored to property management buyer behavior
- Build segmentation logic specific to the property management vertical (portfolio size, unit count, market, product line — ShowMojo vs. Tenant Turner)
- Design lifecycle-stage email flows: lead nurture, trial/onboarding, activation, upsell/expansion, renewal, win-back
Hubspot Execution
- Set up campaigns in HubSpot, bringing together the emails, landing pages, forms, and assets for each one
- Build and send emails in HubSpot, including newsletters, one-off sends, and nurture emails
- QA every email before it goes out
- Own the marketing email calendar: keep it current, keep every team informed of what's going out and when, and make sure sends stick to the schedule
- Coordinate email sends with Customer Success
- Keep HubSpot organized with consistent naming and foldering for emails, lists, and campaigns
- Own UTM tracking on every email and campaign link, so each click gets credited to the right campaign
Content & Landing Pages
- Write email copy for automated email workflows sequences
- Build and publish landing pages in HubSpot's CMS/page tools to support campaigns and lifecycle flows
- Publish blog posts and pages in WordPress
- Ensure workflows, content, and landing pages work as one connected system
Ongoing Optimization
- Run and maintain our lead nurture flows: keep emails, offers, and links current, and test changes that improve engagement and conversions
- Monitor email performance and revise logic accordingly; share the results and make regular optimization recommendations to the team
- Maintain clean data hygiene practices within workflows (list membership, enrollment/re-enrollment logic, suppression rules)
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated HubSpot workflow architecture experience — must be able to design multi-branch automation from a blank canvas, not just configure templates
- Hands-on experience building lead scoring models
- Experience building segmentation strategies (behavioral, firmographic, or lifecycle-based)
- Experience designing lifecycle-stage email flows (nurture through renewal)
- Experience building landing pages in HubSpot's CMS or page builder tools
- Hands-on HubSpot Marketing Hub experience: building emails, landing pages, and campaigns
- 3+ years in marketing automation, ideally with at least 1–2 years focused specifically on HubSpot
- Strong B2B email copywriting skills, with samples you can share
- Experience publishing content in WordPress
- A sharp eye for QA: you catch broken links, wrong personalization tokens, and rendering issues before anything goes out
- Comfortable reading email performance data (opens, clicks, conversions) and turning it into clear recommendations
- Organized and proactive, with the communication skills to keep multiple teams aligned on a shared calendar
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous, US-hours-adjacent environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in property management, real estate, or a related vertical (rental software, PropTech, or landlord/tenant-facing products)
- HubSpot certification(s) — Marketing Software, Email Marketing, or Reporting
- Experience working across multiple product lines or brands within one HubSpot portal
- Experience with A/B testing email sequences and using results to refine workflow logic
- Experience running or maintaining lead nurture and lifecycle email flows
- Experience with UTM tracking and campaign attribution

- Please share one email and one landing page that you wrote yourself in a pdf or document file. Feel free to redact client names or confidential data. For each sample, tell us in 2–3 sentences: (1) Who it was for and what it was meant to get them to do (2) Where it sat in the funnel or workflow (for example, the third email in a lead nurture sequence, or a landing page for a webinar registration form) (3) What you personally did (copy, build, design, strategy) versus what others handled (4) Results, if you have them (open, click or conversion rates) We’d especially like to see an email from an automated sequence rather than a one-off newsletter.
