Embedded Developer / Teamlead, Linux OS

We are looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Developer for one of our clients in Arninge/Stockholm.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a Linux software development team.
• Plan and drive software deliveries and technical activities.
• Facilitate backlog refinement and sprint planning activities.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Program Management.
• Coordinate work with other disciplines, like Middleware Software, User Interface Software, Electronics, Verification & Validation
• Contribute as a senior software developer while leading the team.

Competence/Experience – Mandatory

• Experience from minimum 10 years of experience in Embedded Linux development
• Strong programming skills in C
• Experience with Linux kernel development
• Device driver development experience
• Deep understanding of Linux-based embedded systems
• Experience with Git-based development workflows
• Experience with Yocto-based build environments
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and coordinate complex software deliveries
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience using AI-assisted software development tools in daily engineering work
• English (verbal and writing)

Competence/Experience – Optional

• Knowledge with ARM-based embedded platforms
• BSP (Board Support Package) development experience
• Experience from camera, sensor and imaging
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted code generation, automated testing, or agentic development workflows
• Experience with Zephyr RTOS
• Swedish (verbal and writing)
