We are seeking an algorithms engineer, who will be part of the audio algorithms team that develops audio processing methods for smart eyewear devices.
What you'll do
· Implement, deploy, and optimize real-time DSP algorithms for sensor data streams (e.g., audio) on resource-constrained embedded platforms
· Collaborate with algorithm and software teams to integrate DSP algorithms into firmware
· Profile and optimize code to meet strict performance, power, and memory requirements
· Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment
· Stay current with advancements in DSP, embedded systems, and optimization techniques
Requirements
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
· 5+ years of professional embedded firmware development with significant focus on DSP implementation
· Deep understanding of floating-point and fixed-point calculations, including compiler trade-offs
· Hands-on experience with common DSP functionalities (FFT, filters, etc.)
· Proven track record developing and implementing real-time DSP algorithms in collaboration with algorithm teams
· Strong programming skills in C/C++ for embedded systems
· Extensive hands-on experience with microcontrollers and embedded processors
· Demonstrated experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
· Proven expertise in low-power design and optimization techniques
· Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· Passion for building innovative products
· Experience with agile development methodologies
