abra R&D is seeking an Embedded QA & Integration Engineer.
We are looking for a hands-on QA Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team working on complex, mission-critical embedded systems.
The role focuses on system-level and integration testing of real-time embedded products, combining laboratory testing, field integration, and in-depth troubleshooting.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Northern Israel, with no hybrid option.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on manual testing of complex embedded and real-time systems at the system and integration levels
- Plan, write, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test scenarios
- Perform end-to-end integration testing of the product as a complete system
- Analyze requirements and technical specifications and translate them into thorough test scenarios
- Work with laboratory test equipment and perform practical system setup, including connecting equipment, interfaces, and cables
- Troubleshoot and investigate failures using logs, network traces, Sniffer/Wireshark, and other diagnostic tools
- Test interfaces and interactions between the product and external systems
- Perform integration activities at customer sites when required
- Identify, reproduce, document, and investigate defects to help determine their root cause
- Work closely with Embedded, Software, Hardware, System, and Integration engineers to ensure high test coverage and product quality
- Work with Jira for defect tracking and test-related activities
Requirements
- 2–3+ years of proven QA/System Testing experience in embedded systems- Must
- Proven experience writing and executing detailed test cases for complex systems- Must
- Experience with system-level and integration testing- Must
- Experience reading and analyzing logs and system/communication traces- Must
- Familiarity with Wireshark, network sniffers, or similar diagnostic tools- Must
- Experience working with laboratory test equipment and physical systems- Must
- Experience working with Jira- Advantage
- Experience testing interfaces between multiple systems/products- Advantage
- Basic knowledge of Linux, Python, or communication protocols- Advantage
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in Northern Israel- Must
