What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software using C and Rust
  • Modernize existing embedded C software by migrating it to Rust
  • Develop software for ARM processors, embedded processors, and System-on-Chip (SoC) platforms
  • Integrate software with firmware, hardware, and embedded systems
  • Troubleshoot processor, memory, peripheral, and low-level hardware issues
  • Develop and execute software testing and debugging activities
  • Create technical documentation and maintain software configuration control
  • Collaborate with software, firmware, hardware, systems, and cybersecurity engineering teams

Required Qualifications

  • Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 2+ years of professional embedded software development experience
  • Professional experience with both Embedded C and Rust
  • Experience developing software that runs directly on embedded hardware
  • Experience with ARM processors, embedded systems, or SoC platforms
  • Experience integrating software with firmware and hardware

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of embedded software development experience
  • Experience migrating embedded C software to Rust
  • no_std and heapless Rust
  • ANSI C
  • Python
  • OpenOCD and GDB
  • Bare-metal or RTOS development
  • Real-time or resource-constrained embedded systems
  • Secure communications, COMSEC, or cryptographic systems
  • Aerospace, defense, or other mission-critical development environments

This is a true Embedded Software Engineering position. This is not a web development, full-stack, mobile application, or enterprise software development role. We’re specifically seeking engineers with hands-on experience developing software that runs directly on embedded hardware in real-time or mission-critical environments.
