Responsibilities

  • Develop embedded software and firmware for STM32-based control systems.
  • Write, test, debug, and maintain firmware in C to support reliable system functionality.
  • Develop supporting tools, utilities, and scripts using Python to improve development, testing, and troubleshooting efficiency.
  • Interface software with hardware peripherals and communication protocols, including UART, SPI, I2C, andCAN where applicable.
  • Debug and troubleshoot embedded system issues across firmware, hardware interface, and system-level operation.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware, product, and engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Participate in system integration, validation testing, technical documentation, and release support.
  • Work with Field Service and cross-functional teams to investigate, resolve, and document system issues encountered in the field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Strong programming skills in C, with hands-on experience in firmware or embedded software development.
  • Experience with Python programming for scripting, automation, testing, or tool development.
  • Familiarity with STM32microcontrollers and embedded systems development.
  • Good understanding of microcontroller peripherals, debugging tools, and embedded development workflows.
  • Experience with embedded control systems and hardware-software integration.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, or CAN.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
