Embedded Software Developer
Mission:
Contribute as a Software Developer to the next generation of telematics products and services (on-board). The main product is an information system in the embedded environment that communicates with vehicle systems and back-office systems. Product features include Fleet Management, Uptime services, and other connected services. The team works with an agile approach and continuously improves.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop embedded software in C++
- Work in Scrum teams and support team-driven development
- Contribute to software architecture and subsystem verification
- Participate in product features such as Fleet Management and Uptime services
- Handle tasks from the backlog and specialize in certain competence domains
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of 10 years in embedded software development
- Proficiency in C++ (preferably C++20)
- Experience with Python
- Embedded Linux experience
- Automatic test development
- Master’s degree in electronics/computer engineering or equivalent
- Strong communication skills in English (both spoken and written)
Meriting Experience:
- Experience as a Scrum Master
- Experience working in agile teams
- Familiarity with Yocto
- Knowledge of software architecture
- Background in automotive or telecommunications
- Networking (security and routing) knowledge
- Experience with wireless connectivity
- Proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written)
