Summary
Develops embedded software for advanced electronic products (radar/sensing-oriented) in Cape Town: writing C/C++, building signal-processing and data-analysis algorithms, supporting hardware integration and system testing on ARM Cortex/STM32-class platforms. Needs 3-6 years embedded experience; only SA residents or valid work-permit holders considered.
Job Description:
- Develop embedded software for advanced electronic products
- Design and implement software solutions using C and C++
- Develop signal processing and data analysis algorithms
- Support hardware integration and system-level testing
- Work with sensor-based and communication-based technologies
- Contribute to software architecture, optimisation and product development
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3-6 years of Embedded Software Engineering experience
- Strong C and C++ programming skills
- Embedded systems development experience
- Experience with ARM Cortex, STM32 or similar platforms
- DSP (Digital Signal Processing) experience advantageous
- Radar systems experience advantageous
- Python, MATLAB or algorithm development experience advantageous
- Experience with sensing, tracking, RF or signal-based technologies beneficial
- Aerospace, Defense, Radar or Advanced Electronics experience highly desirable
Qualification:
- BEng, BSc or BTech in Electronic, Electrical, Computer or Mechatronic Engineering
