Hiring: Senior Software Engineer – Embedded Systems (C/C++)

Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite (Tuesday & Wednesday mandatory; third day flexible)

Duration: 14 Months (Possible extension or Permanent conversion)

PAYRATE: 80-94 PER HOUR ON W2

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in embedded software development, C/C++, and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).

The ideal candidate will work on designing, developing, and refactoring embedded software for next-generation platforms involving hardware, software, and security technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with embedded systems and embedded software architecture.
• 3+ years of programming experience in C and/or C++.
• Hands-on experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Experience debugging multithreaded and concurrent applications.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Embedded Linux and FreeRTOS.
• Python, Java, or Golang.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• AWS, Azure, or GCP APIs.
• REST APIs, RPC, and inter-process communication.
• TLS/SSL, encryption, and hardware security.
• Agile, CI/CD, and software configuration management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refactor embedded software.
• Migrate existing applications to next-generation platforms.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, security, and test engineering teams.
• Participate in technical design reviews and resolve complex software issues.
• Support product development and mentor junior engineers.
