Embedded Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware development. The candidate will be responsible for developing, debugging, testing, and maintaining firmware for microcontroller-based systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware using Embedded C/C++.
• Work on STM32 ESP32 ESP8266 AVR, and PIC microcontrollers.
• Develop firmware using both bare-metal programming and FreeRTOS/CMSIS-RTOS.
• Configure and develop STM32 applications using STM32CubeMX and STM32CubeIDE.
• Develop and integrate communication interfaces, including UART, SPI, I2C, RS485 MQTT, BLE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
• Work with ADC, PWM, timers, interrupts, RTC, EEPROM, flash memory, and encoders.
• Integrate firmware with HMI/display and external hardware interfaces.
• Debug firmware and troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues.
• Optimize firmware for performance, memory usage, reliability, and stability.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system-level debugging.
• Develop production-ready firmware and support firmware releases.
• Collaborate with hardware, electrical, mechanical, and testing teams.
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and firmware architecture discussions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics and Communication, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 6 years of relevant embedded firmware development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with STM32
• Strong understanding of bare-metal and RTOS-based development.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to independently develop, test, and troubleshoot embedded firmware.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Programming:

• Strong knowledge of Embedded C.
• Good knowledge of C/C++.
• Strong understanding of pointers, memory management, interrupts, structures, and low-level programming.
• Hands-on experience in bare-metal programming.
• Microcontrollers: STM32 - Mandatory, ESP32 / ESP8266 AVR, PIC.
• RTOS: FreeRTOS, CMSIS-RTOS, Tasks, Queues, Semaphores, Mutexes, and Timers.
• Communication Protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, RS485 MQTT, BLE/BLE Mesh, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.
• Development Tools: STM32CubeIDE, STM32CubeMX, Keil, MPLAB X, Atmel Studio, Arduino IDE.

Additional Skills:

• Firmware debugging and troubleshooting.
• Hardware-software integration.
• Knowledge of JTAG/SWD debugging.
• Experience with oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and multimeter.
• Knowledge of Git/version control.
• Understanding of embedded product development and testing.
