Onsite embedded software engineer role in Poole, UK with a specialist scientific instrumentation manufacturer: designing, developing and testing C-based embedded software for next-generation instruments, supporting integration/testing and design reviews. Requires ~5 years' embedded C experience and an Electronics/Software-related degree.
Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year
Requirements:- Demonstrable experience in designing and building software systems
- Experience in developing embedded software using C
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle
- Understanding and appreciation of code version control
- Ability to write and review technical documents
- Degree in Electronics, Software, or a related discipline
- 5 years relevant experience in Embedded Software Engineering
- Design, develop, and test software systems in C
- Support and assist systems integration and product testing
- Provide customer support and solve technical problems
