About the role

As an Embedded Software Developer at VeroTech, you contribute to software solutions that support manufacturing and operational processes in a technical production environment. You work on backend services, frontend applications, APIs and integrations that connect operational and production systems.

The role combines enterprise software engineering with cloud-native delivery practices. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to create robust, scalable solutions and help improve automation across manufacturing processes through reliable software, testing and modern delivery methods.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software applications that support manufacturing and operational processes

• Build backend services with Java or Kotlin and create frontend applications with React and TypeScript

• Develop scalable APIs and integrations with operational and production systems

• Apply cloud-native, containerization and infrastructure-as-code practices using relevant DevOps tooling

• Improve software quality through CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews and continuous process automation

What we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced software developer with a strong engineering mindset, solid full-stack capabilities and the ability to deliver reliable solutions in complex technical environments.

• Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience, including complex enterprise software delivery

• Strong backend experience with Java or Kotlin and scalable API or backend service development

• Experience with React, TypeScript, SQL and PostgreSQL

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GCP, CI/CD and modern software delivery practices

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, semiconductor or similar technical environments is a strong advantage; knowledge of OPC UA, SECS/GEM, manufacturing automation systems or AI-assisted development tools is a plus
