About the Position: To provide advanced support to the team members and clients of the Emergency and Critical Care department.
- Facilitate Professional, courteous, clear and effective communication to the ECC doctors, clients and staff.
- Act as a point of contact for the ECC service.
- Assist ECC doctors with client communication regarding both inpatients and outpatients.
- Maintain ECC pending labs. Ensure results are returned to the doctor and reported to the client in a timely manner.
- Has the ability to work independently while keeping oneself organized and meeting all deadlines.
- Responsible for supporting clients and medical teams through all stages of patient care, including hospital admissions, visits, discharges, and end-of-life appointments, while ensuring clear communication and compassionate service.
- Possesses high level of medical knowledge.
- Can navigate difficult conversations and high stress situations with tact and professionalism.
