Hourly PRN Position:
PRN employees are required to work a minimum of one (1) shift per 6 weeks.

The Job You Will Perform:

• Uphold CCMH’s Core Values of: Respect, Compassion, Justice, Stewardship, and Excellence
• Apply knowledge of growth and development in patient and family interactions to care for patients
• Measure vital signs on each patient upon presentation.
• Administer medications as ordered by providers while maintaining the 5 Rights.
• Document accurately in the patient’s electronic medical record.
• Reconcile patient medication lists.
• Contact patients regarding important messages about medications, test results, and other general medical information.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA requirements.
• Other duties as assigned within scope of practice.

The Qualifications, Skills and/or Knowledge You Bring:

• Qualified candidates should be a graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program
• Current licensure in the State of Kentucky
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-faced environment
