Emergency (ER) Veterinarian
Animal Emergency and Specialty Center (AESC) is hiring an Emergency (ER) Veterinarian to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee.
- 24/7 emergency care with a dedicated team of ER veterinarians, criticalists, and technicians

- Collaborate daily with board-certified specialists, participate in case discussions, and continue developing your emergency medicine skills through hands-on mentorship and continuing education.
- Access to specialized veterinary training courses, including Global FAST Scan Ultrasound, 3-Day Spay & Neuter Training, Dental Training, hands-on ER wet labs and education on the latest emergency medicine techniques and procedures.
- Base salary is negotiable based on skillset and emergency practice experience.

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, VMD or equivalent
- Active veterinary license in Tennessee (or ability to obtain – we cover state licensure transfer fees)
- Experience in emergency medicine is preferred
- Schedule:
- Typically 3-4 shifts per week, rotating to include nights, and weekends.
- Must work a minimum average of 33 hours per week to be considered full-time.
