Provide emergency medical care and support to patients while ensuring ambulance equipment is maintained and ready for use.
Responsibilities
- Deliver emergency medical care to patients to stabilize their condition during transport
- Operate and maintain ambulance equipment to ensure it functions properly and safely
- Collaborate with team members to respond promptly to emergency calls and provide patient care
- Document patient information and treatment accurately for handover to medical facilities
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe ambulance environment
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification
- Hold valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Ability to start work immediately
Other Information
- Weekend duties: Two per month with additional $100 per duty
- Public Holiday duty: $100 per duty
- Overtime pay: $20 per hour
- Working Days: Monday-Friday
- Two Weekend Duties
- Salary range: $2,400 - $2,800 plus incentives and bonus
