Emergency Medical Technician (Paramedic)
About the Position: This position is located at the 88th Medical Group Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
Perform paramedic level emergency medical treatment to provide the most extensive pre-hospital care.
Identify, treat, communicate, and document airway obstructions, respiratory arrest, and cardiac arrest.
Respond to on-site accidents or other emergencies involving injury and/or illness.
Obtain and record vital signs and other pertinent medical history and prepares patient as appropriate for the physician.
Operate emergency vehicles and uses telephone and radio communications equipment and systems.
