JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM), Family Medicine (ABFM), Internal Medicine (ABIM), or Surgery (ABMS/AOA recognized board)
  • Licenses: Active Unrestricted Ohio Medical License, Active DEA
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
  • Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS (as applicable based on board certification) required
  • Experience: Residency trained in EM, IM, FM, or Surgery required
  • Other Qualifications: Seasonal Flu vaccination and QuantiFERON testing required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical coverage during 24-hour shifts in a freestanding emergency department.
  • Evaluate, stabilize, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical and surgical conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including lab work, CT, X-Ray, and Ultrasound.
  • Coordinate patient transfers to higher-level care facilities when necessary.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate medical records within the Epic EMR system.
