JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABMS/AOA)
• Licenses: Active TX License
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with TX address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS
• Experience: Active ED practice within past 12 months, 100 ED procedures in past 2 years
• Other Qualifications: Case logs required; CME courses on Hypertension in Pregnancy and Postpartum Hemorrhage; FPPE required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED.
• Perform emergency procedures including moderate and deep sedation.
• Collaborate with NP/PA staff and other healthcare providers.
• Manage patient care in a Level III trauma center with 12 ED beds.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using Epic EMR.
