JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, or Pediatric Emergency Medicine
• Licenses: Active Texas medical license required
• Certifications: ATLS, PALS required
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or BC/BE with documentation of 300 pediatric patients in 12 months
• Other Qualifications: Case logs from previous 2 years, Medical Director phone screening required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency care to pediatric patients across multiple CHRISTUS emergency centers in San Antonio.
• Work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) ensuring 24/7 physician coverage.
• Utilize Epic EMR and Abridge AI scribe technology for efficient documentation.
• Complete hospital orientation and Epic training; first 3 shifts will be proctored.
• Coordinate transfer of high-acuity patients to Children's Hospital of San Antonio as needed.
