Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team at The Medical Center at Caverna.
• Work alongside a community-minded team.
• Accountable, on-site leadership: a medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine, internal medicine or family medicine with emergency medicine experience.
• Certifications Required for non-ABEM Physicians: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

• Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance and promote team support.
• 24-hour physician coverage model with 24-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care to approximately 7,000 patients each year at The Medical Center at Caverna, a critical access hospital with a 7 ED bed, 2 trauma bed emergency department.
• Deliver timely, high-quality emergency care backed by Stroke Ready and Cardiac Heart Attack Ready certifications.
• EMR: EPIC.

• Horse Cave is known for having a low crime rate, quiet neighborhoods, and a slow-paced rural environment.
• There are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy, from hiking in the nearby Mammoth Cave National Park to fishing on the Green River.
