Job Description: Emergency Response Team Member
Position Summary:
The Emergency Response Team Member will be responsible for providing specialized rescue and emergency response support during turnarounds and shutdowns. The role requires expertise in confined space entry, high-angle rescue, and adherence to industry safety standards in oil and gas environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Standby emergency response for confined space entry and high-angle works during shutdowns/turnarounds.
* Execute confined space and high-angle rescues in compliance with NFPA 1006 & 1670 and OSHA 1910.146.
* Provide Standard First Aid/CPR with AED support when required.
* Participate in the development and execution of emergency response drills.
* Ensure safety compliance while supporting maintenance and turnaround operations.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
* Certification demonstrating competency in Confined Space Rescue (NFPA 1006 & 1670, OSHA 1910.146).
* Standard First Aid/CPR with AED certification.
* IRATA Level 1 certification (mandatory for team members).
Experience:
* Minimum 5 years of industry-specific Oil & Gas experience (onshore/offshore) as an Emergency Response Technician.
* Emergency Dispatch and Breathing Air Technicians will *not* be considered without relevant years of direct Emergency Response Technician experience.
