Emergency Room RN

Asa Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ER Nurse will provide high-quality, veteran-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, emotional resilience, and a commitment to serving our nation's veterans with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to veterans in the Emergency Department.

• Triage patients based on acuity, and initiate life-saving interventions as needed.

• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with VA protocols and physician orders.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.

• Document all care and patient responses accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR).

• Assist with diagnostic procedures and coordinate with ancillary departments (e.g., radiology, laboratory).

• Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.

• Maintain a clean and safe environment consistent with infection control and safety policies.

• Respond effectively in crisis situations, including code blue, trauma, and disaster events.
