Summary

Administers retirement, pension, and provident funds, processes claims and renewals, and manages customer onboarding and policy anniversaries in South Africa.

As a Fund Admin, you will be responsible for administrating retirement, pension, and provident funds, as well as handling claims, renewals, and new business. Your duties will also include bank administration, investment portfolio management, and risk product administration for death and funeral benefits. Additionally, you will be involved in accounting, customer onboarding, and policy anniversary administration.
  • Administrate retirement, pension, and provident funds, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Process claims and renewals efficiently, maintaining accurate records.
  • Handle new business administration, including policy issuance and documentation.
  • Manage bank accounts and transactions related to fund operations.
  • Administer investment portfolios, monitoring performance and making recommendations.
  • Oversee risk product administration for death and funeral benefits, including claim processing.
  • Assist with accounting tasks, ensuring financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Onboard new customers, providing them with the necessary information and support.
  • Manage policy anniversaries, sending out renewal notices and handling related tasks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in fund administration or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of retirement, pension, and provident fund regulations.
  • Experience with claim processing and understanding of the funeral process and payment procedures.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and tools for fund management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
