The Employee Relations & Policies team provides leadership and strategic direction on employee relations, workplace policies and HR compliance. Your Job

As an Employee Relations & Policies Specialist, you will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, HR teams and employees on a wide range of employee relations, policy and compliance matters. You will support the execution of Accenture's Employee Relations strategy, drive key projects and initiatives, and help ensure compliance with Belgian and Luxembourg employment legislation.

The role combines employee relations expertise, policy management, stakeholder engagement and project leadership. You will work closely with HR, Legal, Corporate Investigations, Labor Relations and business leadership teams to address complex people matters and continuously enhance the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Employee Relations and HR Policy subject matter expert for Belgium and Luxembourg, providing guidance and support to HR teams and business stakeholders.
  • Advise leaders and HR Partners on complex employee relations matters, including performance concerns, workplace conflicts, grievances, misconduct cases and sensitive employee situations.
  • Partner with Corporate Investigations, Legal and Compliance teams to support internal investigations and ensure appropriate resolution and follow-up actions.
  • Lead or support disciplinary, grievance and workplace investigation processes while ensuring consistency, fairness and compliance with local legislation and company policies.
  • Assess employment-related risks, identify mitigation strategies and collaborate with Legal advisors where required.
  • Monitor changes in Belgian and Luxembourg employment legislation and translate legal developments into practical HR policies, guidance and processes.
  • Support the development, implementation and communication of HR policies, standards and Employee Relations programs.
  • Analyze employee relations trends, data and workforce insights to identify risks, recommend solutions and inform leadership decision-making.
  • Prepare executive-level reporting, dashboards and presentations for leadership teams on Employee Relations activities and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Labor Relations and other Corporate Functions teams on consultations, social dialogue activities and organizational initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance compliance, operational effectiveness and employee experience.
  • Lead or contribute to strategic HR projects, change initiatives, leadership programs, employee engagement activities and other people-focused initiatives.

Your Team

You will collaborate closely with Employee Relations professionals across Belgium, Luxembourg and France, while partnering with teams throughout Human Resources and other Corporate Functions including Legal, Finance, Information Management, Compliance and Corporate Investigations.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in Employee Relations, Human Resources, Employment Law, Labor Relations or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of Belgian employment legislation; knowledge of Luxembourg employment legislation is highly desirable.
  • Experience managing complex employee relations cases and conducting workplace investigations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility across all organizational levels.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to assess risks and make balanced recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch and/or French.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive matters.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a large multinational or matrixed organization.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance, ethics and workplace investigations.
  • Experience supporting organizational change and transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with HR systems such as Workday.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis, reporting and executive communication.
