Job Summary
This position supports assigned clinics and departments providing general HR information to employees and leaders on all facets of HR employee relations services. This position will play a crucial role in grievances and investigations and provide employees and managers with guidance, coaching and counseling on those matters.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None / FTE: 32 hours per week
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide information to all levels of employees regarding all facets of human resources employee relations functions
  • Direct employees to appropriate members of the human resources team for technical and complex support in areas of benefits, compensation and general questions
  • Process, investigate, and resolve informal and formal complaints, concerns, or questions related to human resource issues and provide consultative leadership and support to all entities as appropriate
  • Review disciplinary matters submitted by management and provide appropriate guidance and advice pursuant to organizational policy
  • May function as HR representative and support leadership during disciplinary meetings
  • Respond to case reports feedback and provides guidance to managers
  • Maintains data on retention and collaborates with team members to provide information on areas to improve
  • Provides monthly reports to leadership as needed
  • Assist with the development of Performance Improvement Plans as necessary
  • Participate in employment termination meetings as necessary
  • May assist with data collection and analysis, metric development, reporting, improvement activities, and follow-up activities
  • Work on a collaborative basis with managers and directors on guidance and/or resolution of employee relations issues
  • Act as primary point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices related to employee relations
  • Maintains current knowledge of federal and state statutes relating to employment and human resource legislation
  • Maintain privacy and security of all patients, employees, and volunteer information and access to such information. Such information is accessed on a need-to-know basis for business purposes only.
  • Comply with all regulations regarding corporate integrity and security obligations. Report unethical, fraudulent, or unlawful behavior or activity.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory and oversight requirements and ensure compliance
  • Comply with all policies and procedures and proactively participate in the implementation of new initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned
