YOUR ROLE

This role provides legal support on employment and labor law matters across the EMEA region, partnering closely with HR and business leaders to ensure compliance and effective people-related decision-making. The position also supports employment litigation, investigations, compliance programs, organizational changes, and cross-functional legal initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide legal support on labor and employment matters across the EMEA region.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders on employee relations, hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, and policy interpretation.
  • Monitor labor law developments and support compliance with employment regulations and company policies.
  • Draft, review, and maintain employment-related agreements, policies, procedures, and training materials.
  • Support organizational changes, restructurings, business integrations, and M&A employment-related activities.
  • Assist with employment disputes, litigation, investigations, and coordination with external counsel.
  • Support ethics and compliance programs, including Code of Conduct and ethics hotline case management.
  • Conduct legal research, risk assessments, and compliance-related projects.
  • Maintain legal records, reporting, and departmental metrics.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and provide support across Employment, Litigation, and GRC activities.

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • 10+ years of experience as an attorney advising organizations on labor and employment matters, preferably with a combination of law firm and in-house experience.
  • Experience providing practical legal advice on employment-related matters, including employee relations, workplace investigations, policy interpretation, compliance, and employment litigation.
  • Experience supporting Human Resources and business stakeholders on employment law issues.
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment-related agreements, policies, and related documentation.
  • Experience supporting litigation matters, administrative agency charges, internal investigations, and outside counsel management.
  • Experience with employment law considerations in organizational changes, workforce restructurings, or business transactions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple functions and geographic regions preferred.
  • Knowledge of global employment law concepts and multinational work environments is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to provide practical legal guidance and solve complex problems in a business environment.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a global team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal matter management tools.
  • Fluent English and qualification to practice law in at least one EU/EEA country.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Kraków and collaborate across different time zones.
