Are you passionate about helping others achieve independence and meaningful employment? Do you have experience supporting individuals in finding and maintaining employment?
We're looking for an Employment Specialist to join our team at Centerstone who brings at least one year of experience providing employment support services and enjoys building relationships with both job seekers and local employers.
In this role, you'll make a direct impact by helping individuals explore career opportunities, develop job skills, secure employment, and succeed in the workplace long-term.

What You'll Do
Empower Individuals to Achieve Employment Success
- Help individuals identify career interests, strengths, and employment goals
- Develop personalized employment plans and support strategies
- Teach job-seeking skills including resume development, interviewing, and workplace readiness
- Provide ongoing coaching and support before and after job placement
- Assist clients in understanding workplace expectations and navigating employment challenges
- Support long-term job retention and career growth
Build Community & Employer Partnerships
- Develop strong relationships with local employers and businesses
- Identify employment opportunities that align with clients' skills and goals
- Advocate for inclusive hiring and workplace accommodations
- Participate in community outreach activities, networking events, and job fairs
- Collaborate with employers, families, schools, and referral sources to support successful employment outcomes
Documentation & Program Support
- Maintain accurate documentation and service records
- Track employment outcomes and job development activities
- Participate in team meetings and treatment planning discussions
- Communicate regularly with community partners and referral sources
- Provide support during workplace challenges and crisis situations as needed
- Travel locally to support clients and employer relationships, including transportation of clients when appropriate
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year of employment services experience required
- Experience providing employment support, job coaching, workforce development, vocational rehabilitation, or related services
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organization and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based systems
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities, behavioral health needs, substance use disorders, or other employment barriers
- Knowledge of vocational rehabilitation, case management, or employment services programs
