As an EMR Interface Engineer with Counsyl, you are an experienced engineer that has worked with a variety of EMR systems across a wide range of healthcare practice types, ensuring continuous uptime and consistently reliable operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical implementation of our EMR integration pipeline, managing all aspects of the integration process. The ideal candidate will be able to shift fluidly between high level systems planning and technical issue resolution.

About you:
You Hold a BS or MS in Computer Science or other quantitative discipline.
You have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role building or integrating EMR.
You possess expert knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 v2/v3 messaging CCA/CCD.
You are experienced in managing IT systems in a clinical setting.
You are highly analytical, with the ability to synthesize complex data into a concrete recommendation and plan of action.
You have an engaging personality and service mentality while interacting with clients and vendors.
What you’ll do:
Manage the technical implementation of our EMR integration pipeline from ideation to completion
Ensure reliable uptime and operations of all existing EMR integrations
Collaborate with the engineering and program management teams on architecture and infrastructure design projects related to our EMR interface platform
Provide regular communication and reports on pipeline status, progress, milestones, and deliverables
Work with internal and external teams to resolve all EMR-related support issues
- Maintain documentation for interface integration, testing, and maintenance protocols
