Costing & Sourcing Executive (EMS Manufacturing)

• Working Hour: Monday – Friday (8.50am to 5.30pm)
• Working Location: Tai Seng
• Salary: $3,500 - $4,200

Job Summary

Responsible for product costing and sourcing activities to support quotation preparation, cost optimization, supplier management, and business profitability within an EMS/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Request and compare quotations (RFQs) to identify the best pricing and commercial terms.
• Prepare detailed cost analyses and product cost breakdowns to support pricing decisions.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize procurement costs.
• Monitor material costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain supplier relationships and supplier performance records to ensure reliable supply.
• Support procurement, budgeting, and inventory planning activities according to production requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company sourcing and purchasing policies.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Sales teams to support business objectives.

Requirements

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in costing, sourcing, procurement, or purchasing within an EMS/manufacturing environment
• Experience sourcing electronic components, PCB assemblies, mechanical parts, and manufacturing services
• Knowledge of BOM (Bill of Materials) costing and product cost analysis
• Familiarity with RFQ/RFP processes, supplier selection, and vendor management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems (SAP)
• Good understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and supply chain management
