EMS MANAGER

The EMS Manager provides administrative and operational leadership for EMS services in Douglas and Glenrock. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality ambulance response, oversees staffing, regulatory compliance, resource management, and fosters collaboration with staff, providers, and public safety agencies to optimize patient care and community relations.

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, emergency management, or a related field preferred.

• Current Paramedic certification required; must maintain eligibility for Wyoming Paramedic licensure.

• Minimum 5 years of EMS field experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

• In-depth knowledge of Wyoming EMS regulations and national standards.

• Demonstrated leadership, team-building, and performance management skills.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration abilities.

• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure scenarios.

• Proficient in EMS documentation, scheduling, budgeting, and basic office technology
