Energy Analyst – AI Infrastructure - £60-65,000 – London (hybrid)

Summary

Analyzes energy data and models to optimize AI infrastructure for data centers, ensuring compliance, performance, and reliability across Europe for regulated clients.

Innovative AI infrastructure client now requires an Energy Analyst to support in building advanced AI solutions for data centres across Europe for an array of regulated organisations.


This role ensure compliance, performance and reliability across their AI solutions.


The role:

  • Develop and maintain load forecasting models.
  • Run TCO/NPV/IRR models for connections, onsite generation, BESS, and PPAs.
  • Lead energy due diligence and pricing analysis for prospective sites.
  • Assess Demand Response, VPP, and ancillary grid service opportunities.
  • Design and Track energy KPIs.


Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience/ working knowledge of the UK energy markets is essential.
  • A degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Maths in preferred.
  • Experience with asset-level NPV/IRR/TCO models and energy time-series analysis.
  • Advanced Excel, SQL, and Python skills.
  • An understanding of deregulated power markets, PPAs, and utility tariff structures.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to translate complex requirements for an array of stakeholders.


This is a permanent opportunity which provides a base salary of up to £65,000 + benefits.


In terms of working structure, this role is hybrid with 2-3 days per week in their Central London office.
